About For Our Kids

Purpose

For Our Kids provides family law attorneys, paralegals, and court staff with an accurate, easy-to-use child support calculator implementing the 2024 Indiana Child Support Rules & Guidelines.

Our calculator uses the Income Shares Model and produces the complete Child Support Obligation Worksheet (Lines 1-7) with real-time updates.

Official Data Source

All calculations use the official Indiana Child Support Schedule effective January 1, 2024 (Updated May 14, 2024).

The schedule data has been verified against the official PDF published by the Indiana Supreme Court.

Disclaimer

This calculator provides an estimate based on the Indiana Child Support Guidelines. The guideline amount creates a rebuttable presumption per Support Rule 2 that it is the correct amount.

Courts may deviate from the guideline amount only with written findings per Support Rule 3. Situations that may warrant deviation include:

• Parents sharing controlled expenses
• Significant travel expenses for parenting time
• Educational needs of child
• Extraordinary medical costs
• Tax planning between parents

This tool is intended for use by legal professionals. Results should be verified against the official worksheet before filing with the court.

• Multiple parenting schedules (different overnights per child)
